Travel Agency Files FIR Against Tainted IFS Officer Abhay Pathak’s Son Akash, Rs 65 L Unpaid

Bhubaneswar: Close on the heels of State Crime Branch probing into the job fraud case registered against tainted IFS officer Abhay Pathak’s son Akash basing on the allegation of Tata Motors, a travel agency of the capital city here today lodged a police complaint against him alleging non-payment of travel dues to a tune of lakhs of rupees.

Sources said that the travel agency, Sky King, filed a complaint in the Kharvel Nagar Police Station (PS) today against Akash Pathak over non-payment of travel dues to a tune of Rs 65 lakhs. Kharvel Nagar IIC is investigating into the matter.

Notably, IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak and his son Akash are now in judicial custody till December 9 after being arrested by the State Vigilance sleuths last week on disproportionate assets (DA) charges.
