Tribal Art, Dance & Music Make Odisha's Culture More Attractive: Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: Tribal art, dance and music hold a special place in Odisha's culture. The diversity of culture of the tribals is vast and this is what makes the culture and heritage of Odisha very attractive, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said today.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Adivasi Mela here today, Naveen said it is a matter of great pride and happiness for him to inaugurate the event on the Republic Day.

"Odisha Government has always prioritised the development of tribal people. Their education, health and livelihood development has been the focus area. We will continue to work for the development of the tribal people," the Chief Minister said.

The Tribal Mela of Bhubaneswar is a very popular event attended by thousands from across the country. This year the stalls have been made in an innovative manner.

"The organic products available in the Mela have a great demand. I am very hopeful that like every year, the traders will do excellent business at the Adivasi Mela," Naveen added.
