Bhubaneswar: National leaders, including the Chief Ministers of Delhi, Maharashtra, and Assam, paid their respects to the late Dr. Debendra Pradhan, former Union Minister and father of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, at a condolence meeting held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra Chief Minister, offered heartfelt tributes to Dr. Pradhan, describing him as a guiding light for the nation. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Chief Minister, also paid his respects, praising Dr. Pradhan’s humility and dedication to serving society.

Other prominent leaders who paid their tributes include BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Yoga Guru Ramdev, Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, BJP MP Anurag Thakur, and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha.
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said “I pray to God that may He give peace to the noble soul who worked a lot for Odisha and who always remained with us as a guide.”
Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev termed Late Pradhan as an ideal personality. “As per the desire of the Almighty, life and death are the two constants…He ( Debndra) reached put to everyone, everywhere in Odisha with nationalism and cultural sentiment. He was a messenger of the idea of not just Sangh, BJP, nationalism, swadeshi but also an ideal personality,” he added.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya paid tribute to former Union Minister Dr Debendra Pradhan.

The departure of Debendra Pradhan ji has caused a loss to brother Dharmendra Pradhan ji and his family, while the entire country and the Bharatiya Janata Party have also suffered a huge loss…His passing away is an irreparable loss for the party.
The 12th-day ritual (Dwadasaha) of Dr. Pradhan was held at Freedom Fighters’ ground in Bhubaneswar. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi attended the Ekadasaha programme at Dr. Pradhan’s residence in Talcher on Thursday
