Jajpur: At least 15 cows were killed after a cattle-laden truck overturned near Brajanagar on NH 16 here on Sunday.
The incident took place when a cattle-laden truck travelling from Bhadrak to Panikoili overturned midway.
The driver of the truck fled from the spot. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the cattle-smuggling racket.
