Puri: The tugboat which had arrived from Singapore to remove the Malaysian cargo ship ‘Jin Hwa 32’ from Chilika Lake’s coast has failed to do the same even after a three-hour effort on Sunday.
Early today morning, the tugboat which had arrived yesterday started the process of towing the Malaysian ship that has gone aground on the Chilika Lake’s coast since August 7.
While a 15-member team was engaged in the process, they were unable to move the ship even an inch as 50 to 60 percent of the ship has been submerged under the influence of high tide.
