Tusker Found Dead In Athgarh Forest

Athgarh: Local residents detected the carcass of a tusker near a sugarcane field in the Sankhpoi jungle in the Athagarh Bankhand Khuntuni forest area. The reason for the death of the elephant is yet to be ascertained. The age of the elephant is estimated to be around 15-20 years, said Nilamadhav Sahu of the Khuntuni range. The deceased elephant has a deep injury in its ear.
