Deogarh: A 35-year-old man was trampled to death by an elephant here today morning. The deceased was identified as Bhagya Kisan, a native of Chiragunikudar village in Riamal forest range.
Kisan was attacked by the tusker while sleeping in his backyard. He died on the spot. Locals staged an agitation over the youth’s death and demanded compensation for the family of the deceased.
