Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph, lightning and light to moderate rain is likely to affect some parts of districts of Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Nayagarh, Ganjam, Sonepur, Bolangir, and Boudh within next three hours, said the latest bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for the aforementioned districts.
Further, people have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
