Bhubaneswar: The Twin City police have arrested a woman on charges of extorting money from politicians and film producers after allegedly filming intimate moments with them.
The accused is reportedly a law graduate. The police have seized two pen drives and as many mobile phones from her possession. These equipment were used in the crime, reports addded.
Khandagiri police initiated action against Nag on the basis of a complaint lodged by a film producer few days back. She was arrested because the woman did not turn up or cooperate in investigation, the police said.
According to the police, her husband was also assisting her in the alleged crime. The woman has priors and was accused of blackmailing people earlier. Since 2021, a total three cases have been registered against her, reports added.
Her modus operandi was honeytrapping known people with money. According to reports, she owns expensive cars and motorbikes. While the police is tight lipped about this woman, reports added that she will be produced in the court in a day.
