Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) on Wednesday arrested two persons on charges of possession ganja. The accused were identified as Pramod Kumar Sahoo of Fatehgarh and Dasarathi Lenka of Bolagarh. The STF seized 58 kg ganja from their possession following which they were arrested.
Sahoo and Lenka were booked under relevant Sections of the NDPS Act and an investigation is underway. Special drive against drug peddlers is continuing.
Since 2020, STF has seized more than 50 kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin and more than 91 quintals of Ganja. The STF has arrested more than 135 drug dealers/peddlers during this drive.
