Bhadrak: Ahead of the bye-election to Dhamnagar assembly constituency in Bhadrak district, the State Government has transferred the Block Development Officers of Dhamnagar and Tihidi.
Dhamnagar BDO Durgacharan Murmu and Tihidi BDO Basant Kumar Sahani have been transferred.
Koraput’s Laxmipur Tehsildar Banabihari Dinda is to take charge as Dhamnagar BDO while Kalahandi’s Kesinga Tehsildar Jyotirmaya Kar is to take charge as Tihidi BDO.
Collectors of both districts have been instructed to relieve them immediately.
