Jharsuguda: In a major road tragedy here on Friday, three persons were killed and a woman grievously injured. The mishap took place at Durlaga on the Jharsuguda – Sundergarh main road.
The deceased were identified as Aju Rohidas, Bhavani Rohidas of Nachendihi village under Laikera police limits and Ramesh Yadav of Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, Ramesh was returning from Sundergarh to Jharsuguda on a motorcycle with his wife. Their bike collided head-on with another two-wheeler at Durlaga which led to the tragedy.
Aju and Bhavani were riding on the other two-wheeler. The trio died on the spot while Ramesh’s wife was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.
The Rohidas duo was working as masons while Ramesh was a worker at a steel plant in Thelkuli. A case has been registered in this connection.
