Two Cops Face Knife Attack While Trying To Resolve Family Fight In Sundergarh

Bhubaneswar: Two police constables were stabbed while trying to resolve a family fight at Tensa C block under Koida police station in Sundargarh district. The attacker, armed with a knife, injured the constables.

They were rushed to Tensa Hospital, where one was shifted to Rourkela due to his critical condition. The families involved have been detained, and the attacker will be arrested, police said.

According to reports, upon receiving information about a fight between two families in Tensa C Block, two constables from Tensa outpost arrived to resolve the situation.

However, a man brought a knife and stabbed them. Police officers rushed to the spot and took the constables to Tensa Hospital for treatment, and one was later shifted to Ispat General Hospital in Rourkela. Investigation is underway. The attackers will be arrested, police said.
