Bhadrak: Two criminals were injured in an encounter with police near Barpada village in Bhadrak district on Wednesday.
The two have been identified as Prahallad Das of Soro and Sushant Mallick of Nilagiri, both from Balasore district. They are accused of looting Rs 29 lakh from Charampa ATM.
As per sources, the encounter took place following a face-off with the criminals during a raid by Bhadrak Police. The two have sustained bullet injuries on their leg and have been admitted to Bhadrak district headquarters hospital.
The police have also managed to nab two other accused during the raid and have seized various arms and ammunition from their possession.
