Two Dead, One Critically Injured After SUV Overturns In Dhenkanal

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic accident near Gobinda Prasad under the Bhapur police outpost limits in Dhenkanal district, two people lost their lives and one sustained critical injuries when their SUV overturned on Friday.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Sagar Parida and Silu Behera from Kandabindha village, died on the spot.

The injured person, Bubuna Rout, who also hails from Kandabindha, was initially rushed by locals to Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) but was later transferred to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his condition worsened.

The accident occurred when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while approaching an uphill section of the road.
