Two Dead, Three Injured As Speeding Truck Rams Into Tractor In Mayurbhanj

Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed while three others sustained critical injuries when a speeding truck rammed into a tractor, causing it to shatter into three pieces at Betnoti in Mayurbhanj district, today.

According to reports, the deceased were from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. They were working in Balasore as labourers. They were travelling in the tractor from Baripada to Balasore when the accident occurred. The impact was so severe that two people died on the spot while three others sustained serious injuries.

The injured were rushed to the Betnoti hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Upon being informed, police reached the accident site to investigate the cause of the mishap.
