Balasore: Two drug peddlers were tied to a pole and thrashed by locals at Udaypur under Talsari Marine Police Station in Balasore district on Saturday.
Reportedly, the duo had arrived in a car from Digha in West Bengal to Udaypur. Locals caught the duo at around 9 am today while they were trying to sell brown sugar.
On getting information, Talsari Marine Police reached the spot and took the duo into their custody. 18 packets of brown sugar amounting to Rs 5 lakhs, and the car was seized.
