Bhubaneswar: Two authors from Odisha have been selected to receive the Sahitya Akademi Awards for the year 2022. This was informed by the Sahitya Akademi through two separate notifications on Wednesday.
Narendra Prasad Das will receive the Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2022 for his Odia anthology of stories ‘Kolahala na Halahala’. Similarly, Dillip Behera will receive the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar 2022 for his Odia anthology of stories ‘Lanthan’.
Both the awards are in the form of a casket containing an engraved copper-plaque and a cheque of Rs 50,000.
Congratulating them through a tweet, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik stated, “May it be a source of inspiration for all and wish them both more success in enriching Odia literature.”
କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାହିତ୍ୟ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ୨୦୨୨ ବର୍ଷ ପାଇଁ ବାଳ ସାହିତ୍ଯ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇବାକୁ ମନୋନୀତ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରସାଦ ଦାସ ଓ ଯୁବ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇବାକୁ ମନୋନୀତ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀପ ବେହେରାଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ଆନ୍ତରିକ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା। ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟକୁ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ କରିବାରେ ଏହା ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରେରଣାର ଉତ୍ସ ହେବା ସହ ଉଭୟଙ୍କର ଆହୁରି ସଫଳତା କାମନା କରୁଛି।
