Two Injured By Kite Strings In Cuttack City

Cuttack: Two people sustained injuries after getting entangled in kite strings in Cuttack on Tuesday. The incident occurred on the Nua Bazaar overbridge in the city.

According to reports, the injuries were caused by China-made plastic kite strings, which got entangled around the necks of two bikers on the overbridge. One victim suffered a cut on his nose, while the other sustained injuries to his finger and neck.

One of the injured is a resident of Bayalis Mouza in Cuttack district, and the other hails from Jagatsinghpur district.

Following the incident, one victim was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment, while the other returned home after receiving primary medical care.

Notably, a similar incident was reported on Monday in the Trishulia area of Cuttack, where a person was injured after a kite string got stuck around his neck.
