Puri: A man allegedly hurled a bomb at a bike garage leaving two workers of the garage injured at Baliguali on Puri-Konark road in the district on Friday night.
Marine police arrested the accused identified as Kanha Das and seized a motorcycle used in the crime from the accused.
The bomb blast occurred following a financial dispute over bike repair.
Taking advantage of the darkness last night, Kanha, a resident of Balighai hurled two bombs and fled the scene.
There was a feud between garage owner and Kanha over payment of the repair money.
The uncle of Kanha had repaired his bike but did not pay for this. When the garage owner asked Kanha for money, he engaged in an argument which took an ugly turn.
In a fit of rage, Kanha committed the crime.
Meanwhile, the injured workers have been hospitalised in the town.
Police are investigating whether any other was involved in the incident.
