Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed on the spot after a two-wheeler and a pick-up van collided head-on in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Monday morning. The accident occurred near Tileibereni on the Kamakhyanagar-Kankadahad PWD road under Kamakhyanagar police limits.
The identity of the deceased persons is yet to be ascertained.
According to reports, the accident occurred when some businessmen were returning from Dandadhar dam side to Kamakhyanagar in a pickup-van after completing their marketing. As their vehicle approached Tileibereni, a biker coming from the opposite direction lost control on his vehicle and collied head-on with the pick-up van. While two people riding on the bike were killed on the spot, the pick-up van skidded off the road.
