Two Killed As SUV Crashes Into Roadside Shop In Nayagarh

Nayagarh: Two people, a car owner from Sagarugaon in Khurda and a pedestrian, were killed as a speeding SUV crashed into a roadside shop in the Itamati area of Nayagarh district on late Tuesday night.

According to reports, the SUV driver lost control on the wheel and rammed the vehicle into an electronics shop. While the driver of the SUV fled the spot, the car owner was killed on the spot. A truck driver who had parked his vehicle nearby and was walking down the road was also killed in the accident.

On being informed about the accident, police rushed to the spot and launched an investigation. They sent the two bodies for post-mortem and seized the SUV.
