Balasore: Two persons were killed as a truck carrying potatoes hit another truck on the Tala Nagara Bridge on National Highway-16 under Soro police limits in Balasore district.
As per reports, the accident occurred when the truck, heading from West Bengal to Bhubaneswar, collided with another truck and crashed into the divider. As a result, the truck driver and helper were trapped under the potatoes.
Upon being informed, NH patrol police and Soro fire department personnel rushed to the spot and rescued them. They were taken to Soro Hospital, where they were declared dead.
