Two Killed In Head-On Collision In Rayagada

Head-On Collision In Rayagada

Rayagada: Two people, including a woman, were killed when their vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle on National Highway 326 at Chatikona village under Bissamcuttack police limits on Sunday. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed.

According to reports, the victims were travelling towards Bissamcuttack when an unknown vehicle coming from the opposite direction collided with theirs. Both occupants—a young man and a young woman—died on the spot.

Upon receiving the information, personnel from Bissamcuttack police station reached the site, recovered the bodies, and initiated an investigation.

Efforts are underway to trace the other vehicle involved in the collision.
