Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, two youths were killed when a pickup van collided head-on with a motorcycle on the Baghiapada-Butupali road under Boudh Model police station
Lucky Swain of Nakuanali village and Nityanand Jati of Laxmi Prasad village were riding the motorcycle from Badhigaan chhak towards Nakuanali when the accident occurred at 3:30 pm on Wednesday.
The pickup van was traveling towards Boudh on Baghiapada Road when it collided with the motorcycle. Locals rescued the critically injured bikers and rushed them to the Boudh district headquarters hospital, where they were pronounced dead by the doctors.
The Boudh police reached the scene, seized both vehicles, and initiated an investigation into the incident.
