Rayagada: Two persons were killed in a fatal road accident at Krishnanagar village on state highway No 45 in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Thursday late evening.
According to reports, the accident occurred when a man was loading wood on a tractor and a speeding motorbike coming from Sikarpai hit him from behind. Both died on the spot.
While the person loading wood on the tractor has been identified as Yogesh Miniyaka of Uprasaja village, the identity of the biker is to be ascertained.
Soon after the incident, locals staged a roadblock demanding compensation to the kin of the deceased.
