Balasore: Two persons were killed in two separate train mishaps at two places in Odisha’s Balasore district on Tuesday.
In the first mishap, one Rakesh Raut of Gilayodi village under Singla police station limits in the district was run over by a trail near Rupsa station on Tuesday. The police recovered his body and sent it for autopsy. Meanwhile, a probe has been launched to ascertain whether Rakesh was killed in an accident or he committed suicide.
In another accident, a youth was killed when a speeding train hit him near the Basta Machiya Math in the district today. The deceased has been identified as Hemant Dehuri, a local resident.
