Bhadrak: In yet another fatal road accident in Odisha, two bike riders were killed while another sustained critical injuries after their two-wheeler rammed against a truck parked on the road. The accident took place near Bant Chhack under Town Thana police limits in Bhadrak district on Sunday late night.
The deceased have been identified as Shivsundar Mahapatra of Pathaadi and Saurabh Mishra, a minor, of Barikpur. The injured person, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, has been admitted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
According to reports, three friends were coming from Champa to Bant on a motorbike. As they were travelling on the wrong side of the road, they rammed against a truck parked on the side of the road near Bant Chhak. The three fell from their vehicle after the collision and the locals rescued them in critical condition and admitted them to Bhadrak HH where doctors declared two people dead.
Police are investigating the incident.
