Bhubaneswar: Two labourers engaged in cleaning a septic tank in the city fell unconscious due to suffocation and subsequently died here at the Capital Hospital. According to reports, the tragedy took place in Raghunathpur’s Lane – 2 in Sisupalgarh area on city outskirts.
The two workers had stopped responding to calls while cleaning a septic tank, following which the fire service personnel were rushed to the spot. Following rescue the unconscious duo was shifted to Capital Hospital where they were declared dead. Local police have reached the spot and investigating the matter.
