Bhawanipatna: Two men were crushed to death by a speeding tipper in Lanjigarh area of Kalahandi district on Sunday. The duo were natives of Bihar and was working at a private company in Lanjigarh.
The deceased were working as daily wagers in a local factory. A speeding tipper laden with bauxite run over them while they were on the road. The incident triggered a protest by factory workers demanding compensation for the family of the deceased.
Local police have registered a case in this connection and sent the bodies of the deceased for autopsy.
