Rayagada: In a tragic incident, two minor boys drowned in the Nagavali River on the outskirts of the city.
The deceased have been identified as Srinu Kumar Yadav and Ch. Bargav Charan, both Class 6 students of a local convent school.
According to reports, the boys were playing with a ball near the river when it drifted away with the current. The boys drowned while attempting to retrieve the ball.
Fire Service personnel recovered their bodies from the river, and the Rayagada Town police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
