Two Minor Boys Drown In Pond In Bhadrak

Bhubaneswar: Two minor boys drowned in a pond in Radhaballavpur village of Basudevpur in Bhadrak district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Rajendra (17), son of Kahnu Behera, and Jyotirmaya (14), son of Satyaban Behera, both from the same village.

Rajendra and Jyotirmaya had gone to the pond in the village to bathe; however, they lost their balance and both drowned in deep water.

On receiving the information, locals rescued them in an unconscious state and admitted them to the Basudevpur Community Health Centre. However, the doctor declared both of them dead on arrival.
