Bhubaneswar: At least two persons died and 20 others sustained injuries when a bus they were travelling hit a cement-laden truck from the rear at Karei Chhak under Barchana police limits in Jajpur district in the wee hours of Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as the bus driver and bus conductor.
According to sources, the bus was en route to Puri from Kolkata when the accident took place.
Among the 20, the condition of seven passengers is stated to be critical and they have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital after primary treatment at Barchana hospital.
