**Balasore : ** Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu on Sunday has ordered RPF DG to suspend the two RPF personnel who assaulted a differently-abled person on the Platform No4 here on Saturday.
Suresh Prabhu tweeted, “I had taken immediate cognizance of the case, had ordered enquiry. Subsequently, two RPF personnel responsible have been put under suspension”.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawans on Friday assaulted a differently-abled person for allegedly stealing a mobile phone from a train passenger at the Balasore station.
The man was kicked mercilessly by the security personnel after the stolen mobile was recovered from him.
The incident came to the light after social worker Partha Sarathi Jena here, captured the inhuman incident on his mobile phone and shared it with media.
