Bhubaneswar: Two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from the Odisha cadre have been empanelled for central deputation to hold Director General (DG) or equivalent-level posts at the Centre.
The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has approved the empanelment of 35 IPS officers from across various state cadres. Among them are RP Koche (1993 batch) and Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa (1994 batch) from Odisha.
Both officers currently hold key positions in the state. RP Koche serves as the Director of Intelligence, while Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa is the Director of Vigilance.
With this empanelment, the two officers are now eligible to be appointed to senior positions in central government agencies or departments.
