As per media reports, the party will release its 100 candidates for the April-May Lok Sabha elections by the end of February.
Speaking to media, Vijaypal Singh Tomar, BJP’s election in-charge for Odisha who arrived in Bhubaneswar on a two-day State visit said that a meeting will be held tomorrow with the leaders in-charge of clusters. Election strategies will be chalked out in the meeting and discussion will also be held on how central government schemes would be implemented properly in Odisha.
On a query over the coalition government in Odisha, the veteran leader said that central committee will take a call on such issues.
“This is a subject of Centre. We will accept whatever the Centre does. We will contest both Assembly and Lok Sabha seats alone in the State and do well in both. We are fully prepared for the fight. We are also confident to get a clear majority in both the Assembly and parliamentary elections,” he added.
