Bhawanipatana: Two under-trial prisoners have escaped from Bhawanipatna jail after scaling the boundary wall on Sunday morning.
Both of them were found missing in the jail. The prison authorities failed to find them after a frantic search.
They have been identified as Sikandar Jal and Neelmani Majhi. Sikandar is from Nuapada district while Neelmani is a resident of Dharmagarh district.
They were put behind the bars after being arrested under POCSO Act.
However, there is no clear information about how they escaped the jail.
Jail authorities have alerted all the police stations in the district in this regard.
