Bolangir: Two under-trial prisoners reportedly escaped from Titilagarh sub-jail in Bolangir district on Saturday night.
Sumit Bihari, Shobhavan Rana were lodged in jail in separate murder cases.
Sumit was arrested for allegedly sacrificing two children in Sindhekela police station area while sorcerer Shobhavan Rana had killed a kid by throwing him into a well in Kesinga hospital premises.
Jailer Chaitanya Pradhan informed that they both escaped from the jail at around 8 pm last night. He said that he had filed a complaint at Titilagarh police station.
According to reports, both the UTPs were very loyal to the jailer and they were moving inside and outside the jail without any hindrance.
Both were engaged in computer work in the jail, the jailer said.
Sobhaban has tremendous computer knowledge despite being an uneducated person, Pradhan added.
