Sundargarh: Two youths reportedly died due to asphyxiation after a house in Luhuradhipa under Sundargarh Town police limits caught fire on Sunday late at night.

According to reports, the two deceased, Dilip and Mithu from Baurimunda village under the Kinjirkela police station area, were working as labourers at the Luhuradhipa bus stand when the fire broke out in the house.

Following the preliminary inquiry, Sundargarh Town police believe that the fire possibly broke out from a burning candle, which first engulfed the false ceiling when the victims were fast asleep last night after dinner. The police sent the bodies for post-mortem and started investigating the mishap.
