Two Youths Die Of Snakebite In Kandhamal

Bhubaneswar: Two youths died after being bitten by poisonous snakes in two separate incidents in Kandhamal district.

The victims have been identified as Manas Hans (25), a resident of Khalibeni village under Khajuripada police limits and Nima Bindhani (35) from G. Udayagiri block under Gochhapada police station.

According to reports, Hans was bitten by a snake while asleep at home and was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Similarly, Bindhani was bitten by a snake at her home and was rushed to G. Udayagiri hospital and later referred to a Hospital in Phulbani, where she was declared dead.
