Two Youths Drown To Death In Genguti River In Jajpur Dist

Jajpur: Two youths drowned to death on Tuesday while bathing in the Genguti river at Radhadeipur under Barchana police limits in Jajpur district.

The deceased youths have been identified as Amit Khandai and Malay Nayak.

According to reports, three youths of Purushottampur had gone to the Genguti river to take a bath.

While bathing two of them drowned after being swept away by the current in the river. Hearing their cries for help, people who were on the river bank rescued them in critical condition and rushed them to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Barchana.

However, they were declared dead by the doctors at the CHC.
