Berhampur: Another undertrial prisoner died in Bhanjnagar jail of Ganjam district. The deceased identified as Deepak Barik was found hanging in the cell.
He was rescued by the jail officials and admitted to Bhanjnagar Community Health Centre where doctors declared him brought dead.
A few days ago, he was arrested by Tarasingh police and was lodged in Bhanjanagar jail.
However, the jail authorities refused to comment further even though they confirmed the death of the UTP.
In last last few days, three such prisoners have died in the same prison.
