Bhubaneswar – In a distressing incident, a bullock suffered severe injuries after accidentally ingesting a bomb meant for poaching wild boars in the Telkoi forest range of Keonjhar district.
According to reports, the domestic animal was grazing in the forest area when it chewed on the explosive device, triggering a devastating explosion in its mouth. The bullock, owned by Rebati Mahakud of Khuntapada, is currently fighting for its life.
Local villagers have condemned the brutal incident, demanding compensation and stringent action against those responsible.
They have filed a complaint with the Forest Department, urging officials to identify the culprits and take immediate measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
The bomb is suspected to have been planted there for the poaching of wild boars. Unfortunately, the bullock consumed it leading to the explosion in its mouth.
