Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped the inmates of Ramadevi Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar on Sunday morning following the discovery of a body of a middle-aged man in an auto-rickshaw within the campus of the institution.
According to reports, some inmates of the RD Autonomous College spotted the body lying in the back seat of the auto-rickshaw and informed the Sahidnagar Police, who rushed to the spot.
The deceased is said to be in the 45-50 year age group. The police have launched an investigation into the matter, but the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. The reason behind the death is also not clear.
The auto-rickshaw reportedly belongs to a guard of the institution and he has been detained for questioning.
