Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s two-day visit to Odisha, scheduled for May 10-11, has been postponed.
As per reports, the decision to postpone the visit comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. Shah was scheduled to visit Puri to offer prayers at the Shree Jagannath Temple and hold a meeting with BJP workers. Shah was also set to lay the foundation stone for the Forensic Science University in Jatani and visit Sambalpur to offer prayers at the Maa Samaleswari Temple and lay the foundation stones for various projects.
The postponement of the visit has been confirmed by the Sambalpur Collector. The new dates for the visit have not been announced yet.
