Patnaik and Singh discussed over telephone today about Titli assistance, informed official sources. Union Home Minister Singh also assured the Chief Minister that funds will be released immediately for Odisha.
After cyclonic storm Titli had caused widespread damage to loss and life in Odisha, a team from the Centre had visited the State to conduct ground assessment. Following that, Odisha had also been hailed by National Disaster Relief Fund (NDRF) for its disaster-preparedness.
