Uproar Continues In Odisha Assembly Over Mamita Murder Case

Bhubaneswar: Uproar by opposition parties over lady teacher Mamita Meher murder case again disrupted the proceedings of the Odisha Assembly on the third day of the Winter Session on Friday.

When the House assembled for the day at 10.30 AM, both the Congress and BJP legislators created ruckus over the issue demanding the dismissal of Minister of State (Home) Dibya Shankar Mishra.

Unable to run the proceedings smoothly, the Speaker had to adjourn the House till 11.30 AM. The ruckus continued as the House met again. Subsequently, it was again adjourned till 4 PM.
