Bhubaneswar: The Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Department of Odisha conducted the 36th Dashboard Review Meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Principal Secretary Usha Padhee, to assess the progress of key urban infrastructure projects across the state.
Held at the Department’s Conference Hall, the review focused primarily on the implementation status of projects supported by the Odisha Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (OUIDF) and the ongoing LED Public Street Lighting programme across 115 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
During the meeting, Padhee underscored the need for rigorous monitoring, prompt gap identification, and proactive resolution of implementation challenges. She emphasized that timely and effective execution of these initiatives is vital to improve urban service delivery, enhance citizen satisfaction, and realize the state’s long-term vision for sustainable urban development.
The session also incorporated insights drawn from field-level data, highlighting successful practices and pinpointing areas that require strategic interventions. Padhee called for stronger inter-agency coordination and encouraged innovative approaches to ensure both efficiency and sustainability in project delivery.
The review was attended by senior departmental officials, project heads, and field-level functionaries, reaffirming the government’s commitment to accelerating urban transformation in Odisha.
