Bhubaneswar: “We can now dream big and think we will succeed.” On the second day of the third phase of the 5T High School transformation programme, it was clear from the comments of the students of the various schools that there was a deep sense of confidence among them. Bishnupriya, a student from Koraput district, said that she was deeply impressed by the Chief Minister’s ideals. She said that when she grows up, she dreams of becoming the Chief Minister herself and serving the people of Odisha. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was very happy, blessed her and advised her to engage in community service.
Similarly, Balangir’s student Deepanjali Behera wants to become a pilot when she grew up. The Chief Minister said that a book on ace aviator and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik will be presented to her.
Similarly, Bagmi Swajita Sahu, a student from Sambalpur expressed her desire to become an IAS officer. To promote the students who want to become IAS or IPS officers, the Chief Minister directed the District Magistrates to arrange interviews with the IAS or IPS officers. The Chief Minister said that the children will get more motivation by this.
Today, on the second day of the third phase of the programme, the Chief Minister inaugurated 328 transformed high schools in 5 districts. It includes 100 high schools in Balangir district, 61 high schools in Sambalpur district, 53 high schools in Puri district, 56 high schools in Kendrapada district and 58 high schools in Koraput district.
With this, a total of 685 transformed high schools were launched in two days in the third phase. It is worth noting that 3981 schools have been transformed in the state in the last two phases. After the completion of the three phases, a total of 6132 schools will be transformed in the state.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the students who were present in the attached schools through video conferencing and advised them to focus on the time spent explaining the use of 5T.
The Chief Minister also said that the success of the students is the success of Odisha. Efforts have been made to provide all modern facilities to the children in 5 schools. The Chief Minister said that the children could take this opportunity to showcase their talent, the glory of their own and their families would increase as well as the glory of the entire Odisha.
Secretary to CM (5T), VK Pandian coordinated the programme and said that the Chief Minister has ordered to transform all the schools in the state within the next six months. He suggested immediate implementation of all the orders given by the Chief Minister for the education of children.
Development Commissioner Anu Garg delivered the welcome speech and the Special Project Director of OSEPAR gave vote of thanks. Principal secretaries, secretaries and other officers of various departments were present.
