Balasore: An undertrial prisoner allegedly escaped from Soro Sub-Jail in Balasore district on Thursday by jumping over the boundary wall.
The accused identified as Sudam of Thakurmunda in Mayurbhanj district had been arrested in connection with a rape case.
Meanwhile, a search has been initiated to nab the escaped prisoner. No response in this regard has been received from Jailor Priyambada Panda.
